Bedtime Stories

Electric Bookhop's curators, Peggy, Padmini and Claire, deliver an extra-special line-up of guests to explore the future of books, the written word and storytelling in the brave new world of the digital order.

David Benque, the mind behind the Infinite Adventure Machine developed as part of an experimental project with Microsoft and The Royal College of Art, London as a way for computers to write fairytales.

Adrian Hom, the director of Six to Start - producers of dazzling and award-winning transmedia storytelling experiences,  working on a fasdcinating array of online game and storytelling projects with Disney, the BBC and Penguin amongst others. 

Jon Ingold, Creative Director and Narrative Designer at Inkle Studios, where a combination of games industry experience and storytelling talent have spawned a new breed of studio, focussing on compelling interactive experiences for the new breed of tablet computers. Inkle Studios' forthcoming Frankenstein project, in partnership with Profile Books, is a step towards bringing non-linear storytelling to the mainstream.
